ProMach Pharma will be exhibiting a new turnkey packaging line, which includes all equipment from vial and syringe filling to case packing, at PACK EXPO’s international booth W-17002 in the healthcare packaging pavilion. health.
ProMach Pharma’s turnkey blister packaging line for aseptic kits starts with a Dara NFL/2 aseptic filling and closing machine, which can handle nests of ready-to-use syringes, vials and cartridges. The line’s NJM Courser 230 pressure-sensitive labeler, which features a trunnion star wheel for positive handling of small containers at speeds up to 250 cpm, labels syringes, while a WLS VR labeler -72 labels vials. A robotic Pick-and-Place unit from PharmaMed feeds one syringe and one vial per cycle into a Pharmaworks TF2 blister machine.
The blister-packed kits are then transported on a Beckhoff linear conveyor to a Serpa P100 horizontal cartoner, with a rocker construction that meets all FDA validation and sanitary requirements. Next is a Serpa P200 side-loading case packer that can pick, mount and pack cases and trays at speeds of up to 20 cases per minute. Syringe and vial labels are printed offline with a WLS Autonomy stand-alone digital label printer with built-in full label inspection capability.
